One Night Alone Page 3

  “I am not scared.”

The lights started blinking. Will jumped about twenty feet. “Okay, maybe a little. This just reminds me too much of the time when that snowbank collapsed on me.” He was about ten and nearly suffocated to death.

“I’ll make sure you stay safe, okay?” I talked in a calm voice and put my hands on his shoulders, tapping my finger under his chin. He looked up at me and nodded. He was so beautiful.

He wrapped his arms around me. “Thanks. I know I’m acting like a big baby.”

“Childhood trauma can affect you for a long time. Don’t even talk to me about clowns.” He smelled like cinnamon and shampoo. I dropped my arms from the hug because my cock was on the verge of swelling.

  “Sorry.”

“What? No, it’s all right.” I walked around the island, standing on the other side, trying to hide my excitement.

“I was just thinking,” Will said, rubbing the back of his neck.

  “About?”

“We have hot chocolate; now we need Christmas music and cookies. It’s still the Christmas season.”

“I didn’t bring any cookie makings with me,” I said, wishing I did because his suggestion sounded so cozy and festive.

Will smiled at me. “I did.”

  “Did you really?”

“Okay, so it’s the pre-made dough,” he said, letting out a little laugh.

“In my book, those are just as good.” I turned on the small radio sitting on the window ledge above the sink. Christmas songs filled the kitchen as I started pulling out the supplies.

  “You know what?” Will asked.

I peered at him over my shoulder. “What?”

“You should stick on your pajamas, too.”

“All right. It’s not like we’re going anywhere.”

“Yeah, we’ll be nice and toasty together.” Will sucked on his bottom lip and looked at the floor.

  “Preheat the oven?”

  His face flushed pink. “Sure.”

I went and slipped on some fleece pants and a thermal Henley, thinking about that hug. It felt so awesome, having his hard chest pressed against mine, my arms wrapped around his strong body. Will and that body of his had taken up a good deal of space in my masturbatory fantasies.

“What grade do you want to teach again?” I asked when I got back to the kitchen.

“Third,” Will said. He stood at the counter scooping dough onto a cookie sheet.

“That’s right. Any reason that specific grade?”

“They’re still young enough to be little kiddish but when it comes to school work, they start to get more advanced, so it’s just a perfect blend for me. Granted, I’d teach any grade, but third would be the best.”

“You’re going to be a great teacher.”

“Thanks. I kind of have you to thank.”

  Chapter Seven: Will

Parker looked at me with his head tilted. “Me?”

“After you hurt your knee and you changed your major to education, it inspired me in a way.” I dug the spoon back into the tub of dough and scooped out another ball of it.

“Me not being able to go pro was somehow inspirational?” He scrunched up his face and stared at me.

“You didn’t let it ruin your life. You went on, found a new path. The path to teaching,”

“Maybe since you were younger, you didn’t notice, but I let it ruin my life for a while. It took me down. Knowing I’d never play again, it ripped a hole in my soul.” His shoulders dropped, and he sighed.

“Did that hole mend?” I asked, wanting him to be happy, to have a fulfilled life that he loved.

“I think it’s almost there. Sometimes, I still have those days.”

“Like that day you texted me not too long ago.” I pointed the spoon at him, and a small glob of dough flew off and hit him in the forehead.

“Exactly, but you’re always there to help lift me up. I appreciate that,” he said, a sweet smile on his face, wiping above his brow.

“And I’ll always be there. Stand still for a sec,” I said, walking around the island over to Parker.

  “Okay.”

“You missed a spot.” I swiped my finger across his forehead.

  “Oh, thanks.”

  “No problem.”

Parker touched the side of my chin, and I turned my head. “Nothing on you.”

  “Just your hand.”

“Funny.” He dropped his hand but still looked into my eyes. His breathing hitched and then I knew it was time to show him how I truly felt.

“You could put your hand back,” I whispered.

He licked his lips and cupped my face with his hand, way more contact than just his fingertips from a few seconds ago.

  “Parker?”

  “Yes?”

“I think we need to talk about some things.”

  “Like?”

I leaned in and brushed my lips against his. Our lips against each other’s were so soft and light, but it sent a jolt straight below.

He jumped back. Not quite the reaction I hoped for.

“I am so sorry. I totally read the situation wrong.” I took in a deep inhale and slowly let it out.

“I’m sorry for reacting like that. Just…I need a minute to think,” Parker said, running a hand through his hair.

My heart broke in two. “I’ll leave as soon as I can. I’m sorry.”

He closed his eyes. A pretty final answer to me.

“Shit. I’ll give you that minute.” What did I do? What did I do? I was so pissed at myself. Acting on my stupid feelings. He’s my brother’s best friend. He never meant anything by all of it. He was just messing me. Maybe some kind of a sick joke. And lots of wishful thinking on my end. I went to my room, punched in my pillow, and then picked them up one by one and threw them over the bed.

“Hey.” Parker stepped into the room, wringing his hands together.

“What do you want?” I reached down to grab another pillow to throw, but there were none left.

“I am so sorry, okay?” He took a step toward me, moving cautiously as if I was an angry animal about to attack.

“Why? Are you just fucking with me?”

“Of course not. It was a knee-jerk reaction.”

“I wasted so much time on you.” I wanted so much more from him, for us, for my love for him to be reciprocated.

“It wasn’t a waste, Will. I apologize so much,” he said, placing both of his hands over his heart. “That kiss just made it so real.”

“So you don’t want what we have to be real? Some pretend fantasy you can beat it to?” I asked, balling my fists at my sides.

“Not at all. I didn’t mean to make you feel bad. I wanted you to kiss me. I still want you to.”

“That wasn’t the reaction of somebody who wants to be kissed.”

“It’s just… fuck,” Parker said, pulling on his hair.

“You’ve been flirting with me, sharing everything, confiding in me. The way you touch me, say my name, make me feel.”

He rubbed the back of his neck and locked eyes with me. “Fuck. I like you. So damn much.”

“So you’re not messing with me?” I didn’t know what to think.

“No. I am so sorry about reacting like that. What do I have to do to make you believe me?” he asked, his eyes glistening with tears. He blinked, and they began to roll down his cheeks.

“You made me feel like shit.”

“I know, and I apologize. With that kiss, it made me realize that I never truly loved anyone before. I’ve never had feelings like this, so strong. My heart and mind needed a second to tell me that I wasn’t falling in love with you, that I am in love with you.”

“Hey,” I said, going over to him and wiping his tears away with my fingertips.

“I’m such an asshole. Now that’s all you’ll think of when you look at me.”

“You love me?” I touched Parker’s lips with my fingers, where his confession just came from.

  “I
fell in love with you between all those chats and messages, those selfies and Facecalls, when you would tell me everything would be okay. Maybe it’s an unconventional way to fall in love, but it happened, so yes, I love you. I’m just so scared it’s a one-ended kind of love.”

“Parker, we’ve been dating. We just didn’t call it that, and that whole time, building these feelings. I came here hoping I could tell you how I really felt.”

“You did?” he asked, his face lighting up.

“Yes.” I grabbed his biceps with both of my hands. “I love you, Parker,” I said, squeezing his arms.

“Really?” He looked into my eyes, his wet with tears.

“Yes. It kind of worked out that we had this one night alone together, didn’t it?”

“Can I kiss you?” he asked.

“I would love if you kissed me.”

He stepped in close and cupped my face. We stood there staring at each. This was it. The one person I’d been dying to kiss forever. He leaned in and pressed his lips to mine. I reached up and grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him to me, so we were chest to chest. Happiness spread through me. His lips were warm on mine, and he swiped his tongue in my mouth. He tasted like peppermint. My perfect after Christmas gift. Our kiss deepened, and he threaded his hands through my hair, and a moan escaped my lips as his hips pressed into me, his hardness rubbing mine. I swear I had never been so hard in my life before.

Parker pulled away and placed his hand on my cheek. “I’ve been wanting to do that.”

“Same here.” I had kissed guys before, but nothing ever compared to kissing him. My body told me I wanted more, that had never happened before. It was like I was waiting for him all along.

  “This is so unbelievable.”

  “Which part?” I asked.

A sweet smile spread across Parker’s face. “This is what love feels like.”

“It feels so damn good, but I have to tell you something. I hope it doesn’t change things.” My chest tightened a bit, and my hands shook.

  “Go ahead.”

I took a deep inhale and slowly let it go. “I’ve never been with anybody before.”

“That doesn’t change anything at all. We’ll take it slow; whenever you’re ready. We’re together, and that’s what counts.”

“Are we going to be a secret? We don’t have to say anything if you don’t want.” I rubbed my hands over Parker’s chest. I wanted to touch every inch of him, of his beautiful body. The body of this man who loved me.

“No. I don’t want to keep you a secret. I’m going to be proud of the man I love and show him off to the world.”

“Okay, I guess I now get to tell my brothers that I’m gay and in love with you, but I’m so damn nervous.” I hugged him and held him so tight and close to me.

He petted the back of my head. “They love you. I’m sure they’ll accept you just as you are.”

“I hope so. Are you scared at all?” I asked, my face smashed into his chest.

“I’m scared of telling Derek. I don’t want to lose him as a friend, but I can’t hide or deny how I feel about you anymore.”

I looked up at him. “He’ll have to deal with it because I’m in love with you, and I’m not letting you get away.”

  Parker smiled. “Hello, boyfriend.”

  “Hi.”

He leaned in and his lips lightly touched mine. I let out a shaky breath against his mouth and melted into the kiss. Our mouths felt perfect together.

“What do we now do with the rest of our evening?” I asked.

“Enjoy each other,” he said, pressing his forehead to mine.

I touched his jaw with my fingertips. “I have some ways I can think of to enjoy you.”

“Shouldn’t we take things slow?” Parker asked.

“We just professed our love for each other, so we might be past that point.”

“But I want it to be perfect and wonderful for you. I don’t want my reaction from earlier to still be on your mind when all you should be thinking about is how good it feels, so maybe we should finish making the cookies or something.”

“Maybe you’re right. Perhaps we should just go make those cookies, and while we do that you can tell me how good you’re going to make me feel.”

  Chapter Eight: Parker

We went into the kitchen, and Will froze for a moment, seeing how high the snow was against the patio doors. Only a sliver of the darkening night sky showed through at the top.

“Hey, come here,” I said, taking him by the wrist, pulling him to me. “You’re safe here with me. I won’t let anything bad happen to you.”

“Okay,” he said, sounding unsure. I hugged him tight and kissed the top of his head. “Maybe making cookies will help.”

“Perhaps.” I gave him a soft kiss on the lips and then went to finish the sheet of cookies he started scooping out earlier. Will sat down at the island, watching me. “I can only eat like one of those.”

“Aw, come one.” Will didn’t have an ounce of fat on him, pure muscle, but I remembered those days. Didn’t have to worry much about it anymore, but I still made sure I stayed in shape.

“Maybe I’ll eat two just for you.” As I scooped the last few dough balls out, he got up and came over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist, laying his face on my back. “I’m hard.”

“I can feel it.” It felt so good, feeling his excitement for me. My cock swelled for him.

“My heart is beating so fast,” he said.

“That’s a good thing, right?” I asked, turning around. “I haven’t felt this happy in a while.”

“Me neither. Will grabbed my ass and pulled me to him. I bent my knees some, so our bulges brushed against each other’s and moved my hips the slightest amount. He took in a sharp breath and moved his hips, too.

I crashed my lips into his, thrusting my tongue into his mouth. Fisting my hands in his hair, we moved together. Will moaned and pushed down my fleece bottoms and then tugged down my underwear. My cock was so hard. I pulled down his pajama pants and underwear. He broke away from the kiss, and we stood in front of each other, breathing heavily, our cocks looking like they were about to engage in a sword fight. I wrapped my arms around him and flipped us, so he leaned against the counter with his hips jutted out, and I bent over him a bit, stepping in closer, so his length lined up right along with mine. He rocked his hips into me, his hardness grazing mine.

  My body shivered. “Oh, Will.”

He moved his hips again, and I copied his movements, and the sensation of his cock rubbing mine was mind-blowing. A moan escaped my mouth, as we moved in sync, and Will kissed under my jaw and down my neck.

“We went from zero to sixty in a minute’s time,” he whispered.

“Should we slow down?” I asked.

“All I want to do is speed up.” He bit the corner of his lip and smiled.

  “Oh, fuck, Will.”

“Yes, that’s what I want to do.”

“Jesus.” I so badly wanted to sink deep into him, and hearing him say that’s what he wanted, too, I could’ve come right there.

“Too much?” he stopped and tilted his head, looking at me with those beautiful blues.

“I just want to make sure you’re ready,” I said, brushing my fingers over his cheek.

“I am more than ready. Screw taking things slow. I want you now.”

“I want you, too, but if we keep this up, I’m not going to last much longer. Maybe we should go take a shower before the storm knocks the power out, and we can make this last.”

Will ground his hips harder into me.

“Oh my God. That just feels so good.”

“And this,” he said, wrapping his hand around both of our cocks.

“Holy shit.” I grabbed right under his ass, holding his upper thighs tight, and picked him up. He wrapped his legs around me, and I carried him to the bathroom. He kissed my neck as I walked and behind my ear, and I wanted to fuck him right there. “I want to be in you s
o badly. Are you okay with that, me thrusting my thick cock in your hole?”

“I’ve been dreaming of feeling you in me.”

“I’ll be so gentle, though, so nice and slow you’ll be writhing beneath me with pleasure.”

A devilish smile spread across Will’s face. “And screaming for more.”

His words made me weak in the knees. I almost dropped him for a moment there. In the bathroom, I sat him down on the counter, and he pulled up the bottom of my shirt. I finished taking it off then we removed his shirt.

I rubbed my hands across his hard chest. “Your body is incredible.”

  “I still can’t believe I’m here with you, half-naked.”

“It’s pretty amazing.” I ran my hands around to his back, my fingertips grazing the top of his ass.

“It really is.” Will tugged down my bottoms. We removed his and our underwear, climbing into the shower.

I could not wait until I could bury myself in his tight sweet ass.

  Chapter Nine: Will

We stood face to face, the warm water running down over us, both of our erections aimed at each other. Parker grabbed a loofa and soaped it up. I stepped in closer, our cocks grazing, sending a tingle down my spine and causing Parker to stop for a moment and close his eyes.

“Every time your cock touches mine, it’s electric,” he said.

I rocked my hips into his, and he shook his head. “Oh, Jesus, Will.”

He started washing my chest, my abs, and everywhere else. When he finished, he handed me the loofa, and I did the same to him.

“I think we’re good and clean,” Parker said.

I leaned in and kissed him. “I think I missed a spot.”

“I want to make sure you’re ready for me.”

  “Okay.”

He hugged his arms around my waist, bringing me close, reaching his hand around, running his fingers through my crease. My cock leaked pre-cum as he turned me around, pressing his palm on my upper back so I’d bend over a bit. He ran a finger through my crease again, and I made my stance a bit larger. One of his fingers wandered, and he started petting my hole. I closed my eyes and bent my head back.

  “You like?” Parker asked.
